Dear Disney, I am right now 14 years old . My mom never had a quince niether did any of her sisters . My mom means alot to me and her dream is to see me in a beautiful quince dress dancing the first dance with my dad. My dad is a very hard worker but we are going to very hard times we bearly have enough to pay the bills of each month and seeing that makes me feel very sad. I bearly see my dad now . The only time i see him is at night we dont talk that much like we use to . Each time someone brings up there quince it breaks me becuase i know i will probaly not have one.When my mom brings it up my dad avoids it and saids why waist moeny on that. I think i know why he saids that he has never ever been invited to a quince and it would mean the world to me to be having the first dance with my dad . To have a family of 3 sisters , 1 brother and me is alot of work. This year has been different then others and why / well to much family arrguments and seperations . I want every one to 4 get and forgive themselves. I am working realy hard on grades im an avid student. My dad bearly bought this computer and i have taken this chance to right to you about having my dream of having a quince at Disney. You are my last hope for helping me accomplish my dreams. My family hasn't been to Disney land and if i had my quince there i know it would be something special that no one will ever forget. Es una pena que haya gente que por culpa de los problemas económicos no pueda realizar su sueño. Pero para celebrar tus 15 años hay otras ideas menos cursis y mas divertidas. Lo de disney world es una excusa, para ganar pasta, es todo comercial. Lo importante cuando cumples quince años es madurar y estar cn tu familia y amigos. Chicas no necesitais todo eso.

I wouldn't get to exited just yet. This is a once in a life time thing and there not taking any privet party reservation any time soon. Belief me, I checked. So I would suggest that you start looking for another place to have your sweet sixteen at, cuz it really aint? gonna happen at Disney.

Well I check it out and it turns out that it?s not a privet Quinceanera. You would have to share the whole experience with a bunch of other girls. By this I mean that it?s not a privet party. It just a party for you and your immediate family. Meaning mom, dad, brother, and sister; No aunts, uncles, cousins, or friends. Yeah, I know it suck. But the worst part is that there will be other girls there having there Quinceanera too (on the same day) and you might even have to share a table with there family. I don?t know about you, but I don?t want to see another girl all dolled up on a day that?s supposed to be all just about me.

Dose it really sound just like your dream Quinceanera now?

My Quince is in 3 1/2 months, October the 22nd and I've always dreamed of having a Quinceañera but my parents aren't able to afford it for one reason my step dad got a cut pay and now we're barley making ends meet. My grandmother has been living with us because she is living day by day because of her Liver disease that was rapidly overtaking her Liver. She has primary bilateral cerrioes disease, along with auto immune hepatitis, and the medication that she was taking to fight these disease's gave her diabetes. She also has glucoma in both eyes, caiderat in both eyes as well. My family has gone twice to Californa in this year for my grandmother so she could get tested for a liver transplant. My mom is a stay at home mom trying to find a job as quickly as possible but no answers from any place she has applied. She also took Gaurdianship of my niece just a year ago because my sister just recently gone in rehab. My biological father doesn't understand what this means to me and won't help my mom and step dad with the money for anything.As you can tell I have all this adult problems surrounding me and I'm only one girl, the one thing that really kept my hope up this long was the fact that I might have a Quinceañera but that might not even happen along with my Grandparents 50th anniversery that's in September. My Grandfather really wanted to Celebrate it the right way because my Grandmother has been with him this long with all the disease's that she has, but they can't afford it either. If Disney could make this one dream of mine come true it would mean the world to me and my family. I would do anything for this one dream, and then I would truly belive in the year of a million dreams. If you could get back at me with your choice that would be wonderful.

I would really love to have theis opportunity to expierence my Birthday (qunincenera)in Disney world i ahve always dreamed to go there someday. But unfortunately my parents are not able to. I was born late in my parents life I have a 28 year old sister and a 25 year old brother and i am going to be 15 next Octobet so this would be a big blessing if I was the winner.
I know that my parents are going to give me a quincenera the best way they can but if I was the the winner I am so sure that it would be something I would never forget and I could tell my story to everyone.
But instead I would wish for my niece Alicia to get a chance at a quincenera because I know that even though i am having one at my parents budget I am blessed to ahve both parents. My cousin and her family are living with my grandmother which just lost my popo to cancer in November,because her parents are divorcing and i know that my aunt will not be able to give her one.
