How Much Is Too Much?

Seems like one of the most common issues quince girls have is trying to figure out, how much is too much?  I'm talking about make-up for that special day.  Sometimes it even becomes an argument with your Mom and Dad.  I found a good website you might want to check out, http://beauty.about.com/od/teenbeauty/a/teenbeauty.htm, it lists 20 beauty secrets that every teen should know about, and you can even get a free newsletter from Julyne Derrick the teen beauty expert.  I know that at your quinceañera you will probably wear more makeup than usual, and that is normal. Still, you want to make sure you don't over do it. One solution is to go to a professional makeup artist on the day of your quince, that could cost anywhere from $50.00 and up depending on where you live and who you go to. Another idea that won't cost you anything is to go to the mall and get a free makeup makeover from just about any makeup company, or ask someone that you know and admire how they wear their makeup, to do your makeup, on that special day.  Some girls go for a more natural look at the mass and then go for a more dramatic look at the dance, so it's good to have a friend with you because a makeup artist or the lady at the mall won't be able to go around with you all day. Either way, you'll want to practice with the different looks, colors, and products days before your actual quinceañera.

While you are practicing, take a close-up with your digital camera and compare the different looks yourself. Remember makeup is supposed to enhance you features, not take away from your natural beauty!  You do know you are beautiful right? :)

I had my Quince in June and geting ready for my younger siter in a year. I did not wear any make-up but some eyeliner and lip gloss. If you go to the more natural look noting can go wrong.
