Need a break from thinking about your quincenera and all the details? I know the perfect place to hang out and forget about all the details for awhile.  The movies.  This past week I saw Beowulf, the #1 grossing movie over the weekend.  Talk about cool!  It was like looking at the coolest looking video game.  I wish this movie had been out when I was 15 and in the 9th grade,because like a lot of you all know if you are in 9th grade literature or english, you have to readthe long boring story of Beowulf.  Well, after seeing the movie this past weekend, it's not so boring after all.

Loaded with lots of excitement, especially the fighting scenes.  The movie stays pretty true to the original story about Grendel (the monster), Beowulf, and Grendel's mom (played by Angelina Joli).  I don't want to tell you too much, cuz I don't want to spoil it for you.  All, I will say is that the visual effects are awesome and if you want a more detailed review before you go see it, check out http://www.reelzchannel.com/. Like I said in the beggingin of this blog, if you need a break from all the planning and stessing of your upcoming Fall quinsenera, take a break and go see a good movie like Beowulf, it will take your mind of things for a few hours, and then you'll be ready to go back to dealing with getting your quinsenera just perfect!
