The spring Quince Girl magazine is almost done!

Guess what, Quince Girls? The magazine is just a couple of weeks away from going to the printer! Once there, it takes about a month to get to the newsstands. I bet you didn't realize it takes so long to make a magazine, right? This issue is the best ever, and as we take a final look at pages and do our proofreading, I keep thinking how much you are going to like it! Whew! The magazine photo shoot is over!

Well, about 50 dresses with matching pairs of shoes, jewelry and tiaras, along with accessories, party gear, and beauty items later, the Spring '09 Quince Girl magazine shoot is over! But the best part was working on the new casual fashion section. We picked about 10 items to mix and match and pinned the outfits up on the wall to shoot---enough outfits for a whole week! Great photo shoot today for Spring '09 magazine!

We had an awesome shoot today---the best models and the prettiest dresses! Plus, we had a first for Quince Girl: casual fashion! We are doing a great story on 7 days of outfits, and are they ever cute. For our big quinceanera dress fashion story, we built a huge studio set of a pretty spingtime garden, all the way down to the grass! It was a long day, but I can't wait until you see the great shotswe got! Tomorrow, no models, but lots of products. More later!

Quince Girl model shoot today!

Hey Quince Girls: It's about 6:30 in the morning, and I'm getting ready to head over to the photo studio for the first day of shooting. We have three models today and about a million quince dresses to shoot! The theme is Spring! which isn't easy in 30 degree weather! I'm sleepy but I need to get my famous dress form loaded in the car. Many Quince Girl dresses have been shot onthat dress form! More later! Wish me luck!

I just checked this blog, and I can't believe it's been more than a month since I wrote to my chicas. Time has flown! We've been in the thick of planning for the next issue of Quince Girl--booking the photographer, calling in models and dresses. More exciting news this time around: Quince Girl is going to cover casual fashion as well as quince fashion! Hang with us as I tell you more aboutwhat it takes to shoot and make a magazine.
