 Real Questions from Quince Girls! Things you need to know, but were afraid to ask! Your big day is almost here BUT instead of feeling happy, you’re sad. Here are five major reasons girls stress before their quince and great solutions for each dilemma: Birthday Blues
1. You’re Parents Are Being Too Controlling: Instead of squabbling over everything, decide what matters most to you and present those issues in a mature – tantrum free – fashion to your parents.
2. You Haven’t Found a Date: There are two ways to solve this problem. Plan A: Brave chicas should muster up all their courage and ask their crush. If he says no (his loss) resort to Plan B. Plan B: Ask a relative or platonic friend. Since you’re already comfortable with him, you’ll definitely have blast.
3. You Absolutely Hate Your Dress: Your solution depends on several factors, such as where you purchased the dress, how much time you have before your big day and how much money you have left in your budget. If returning the dress is an option, you should exchange it for another one. If you cannot, find a great seamstress who can re-vamp the gown to your liking.
4. You’re Running Out of Money: Now’s the time to prioritize. Decide what you absolutely need and where you can cut corners. For example, do you really need 1600 balloons to decorate the hall? Maybe you can get half as many. Can the meal be buffet style instead of paying for a wait staff? You should also take inventory of things you’ve purchased for the event, but won’t need, and return them.
5. You’re Nervous About Having All Eyes on You: Practice any speeches you plan to give in front of your immediate family to help reduce anxiety. Most all remember that everyone is there to show their love and support to a special young lady: You!
